OK YES PERSONA 5 ROYAL IS BASICALLY JUST THE SAME AS VANILLA BUT IT HAS AN AKECHI + MARUKI + KASUMI CONFIDANT (basically hangouts with them) and if you get to rank 10 with akechi and maruki you unlock third semester which is arguably the best part of persona 5 royal. imo p5r is soo much more worth it than regular p5 if youre planning to buy the game!! anyways the spinoff games are: p5t (👍), p5s (👍👍), p5dis (dont get this), persona Q2 (dont get unless youve played all of modernsona series (p3, p4g, p5r), and p5x (its free but not that entertaining) these are all just spinoff games that are optional and dont really have lore in them, i personally havent bought any of them yet so im just telling you what ive heard.😅 also if you do get into playing other persona games i strongly recommend persona 4 (its getting a remake in 2027), and persona 3. p2 and p1 is basically forgotten so dont worry about it 😅😅

AW IM GLAD YOU TRUST ME. YES START WITH PERSONA 5 THATS WHAT I DID No ome will kill you. its the best game from the series imo considering every aspect but you can get into the rest of the series later too iyw (i personally dont plan on playing p1 and p2 anytime soon unless they get a remake so i recommend p3p and wait till p4r comes out). all the games have individual stories so it doesnt really matter what order you play it in if you need me to explain the spinoff games with p5 then just send another message Ok OH ALSO IMPORTANT PLAY PERSONA 5 ROYAL NOT PERSONA 5
